Mable’s House of Hope maintains strict criteria for acceptance into our program. We accept only families that have a household income $10,000 or less. Each family completes an extensive questionnaire prior to an interview and evaluation by our Program Director. We are a small agency of limited funds, and thus want to be absolutely certain that the donations we collect are used wisely.
Acceptance into the program is subject to the following conditions:
Mable’s House of Hope has developed a variety of programs that provide a broad range of support for helping needy families. Our goal is to help transform the lives of people and help them develop self-respect and dignity. We want to show them that there is “Hope” at Mable’s House of Hope.
The Emergency Food Program
is designed to help aid needy families in the Greater Cincinnati area by providing them with food. We believe in servicing others wholeheartedly and helping those that are in need. We would like to do so by giving back to the community. There are hundreds of families here in the Greater Cincinnati area, many of who are in need of emergency food.
The Clothing Program H.O.P.E Chest (Apparel & Such)
H.O.P.E. Chest is a non-profit Christian organization that was established for people to shop for new and lightly used clothing, coats, shoes, baby items, toys, and furniture.
Our Mission is to help others prosper every day. We want to be able to reach out to the community and let them know there is hope. We would like to show them that H.O.P.E. Chest would be able to assist them by providing to them clothing for themselves and their families.
Our Goal is to have the women, men, teenagers, and children gain confidence, build up their self-esteem, and teach them the importance of helping others. We would like to give back to the community by allowing parents to shop for themselves and their families without having to pay.
The Education Support Program is designed to help families with tutoring for children, and to help with their educational and vocational goals.
The IHN (International Hospitality Network)
The mission of Mable’s House of Hope Interfaith Hospitality Network is to provide homeless families emergency shelter and hospitality through interfaith communities and to work with these families to find and retain temporary housing until they are able to relocate
